I really need your help. I'm new to learn C#. I've followed each steps of Head First C#. In the book, the Visual Studio version is 2012, and the project type it tells me to create is Blank App (XAML) Visual C#, which I can't find in my Visual Studio 2017, so I choose the type described below.
About my computer/system:
Once downloaded, you can open the.rdp file in the Microsoft Remote Desktop, then connect to your new Visual Studio VM running in Azure! On Windows you can use the Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection client. Heterogeneous Development Environment with Parallels Desktop® 7 for Mac 6 minute read TL;DR – Purchase a 17' MacBook Pro, add two external monitors, install Parallels Desktop® 7 for Mac, and start developing software solutions for any environment (Mac OS X, iOS, Android, Microsoft.NET, Windows 8, and Ruby on Rails et al) without compromising a thing.
Software: Microsoft Visual Studio 2017.
Parallels for mac amazon. The project type is: Blank App (Universal Windows) Visual C#.
Computer: Using Parallels Desktop to run Windows10 on Mac OSX.
The Parallels Desktop, which is a virtual machine software used for running Windows 10 on my Mac. I create my project in this virtual machine, and after I finished the project follow the steps from book, there is no error in editor. But after I pressed the green-play-button, I got some error I posted below.

- Check your project is stored in the C: drive of Windows10 running in the Parallels Desktop.
- If you can't find where you store your project:
- Back to your Mac OSX > Finder > iCloud Drive > Documents > Visual Studio 2017 > Projects >Check that whether your project is stored in here, if it does, I will solve your problem.
- If your project is already stored in the C: of Windows10 in Parallels Desktop, go search other solution, I can't solve your problem, sorry.
- You stored your project in the wrong place.
- Parallels desktop windows emulator for mac. Don't copy and paste your project directly to Windows10 in the Parallels Desktop.
- Create the project again. Yes, create it again.. But this time, make sure your project is stored in the C: in the Parallels Desktop(I mean that the location of your project start with C: ).
Explain about the error message in the picture:

Parallels for mac how to use converge screen. First I want to say, I'm new to Visual Studio 2017, and I don't know why the language displayed in the Output contains Chinese, I've already changed it to English in the environment settings. Sorry about that if you can't read Chinese.
But what it means in English is :
Windows can't deploy/debug your project because your project is stored in the file system of type PrlSF.
Since the default path of my project is:
In Windows on Parallels Desktop > iCloud on 'Mac'(X:) > Documents > Visual Studio 2017 > ..
If you right click the iCloud on 'Mac'(X:), you will find that it is of type PrlSF. Yes, as the error message shown, you've stored your project in the wrong place.

I had the same problem and found the following solution in the Parallels forum:https://forum.parallels.com/threads/prlsf-permissions-issue-when-developing-an-uwp-app-in-visual-studio.342549/
So the credit goes to the user JakubZ in the forum:
For further reference, the steps to resolve this issue are as follows:
- Unload the UWP project (R-click on project and then select 'Unload Project'
- Edit the project file in VS (R-click on unloaded project and then select 'Edit ..')
- Find an XML entry for the OutputPath. For instance the entry for OutputPath when building for Debug|x86 should look like bin/x86/Debug. Notice that the entry contains relative path.
- Edit the path to an absolute path on one of VMs drives. For instance, to set the path to the %TEMP%UWPBuildsx86Debug directory for the user write $(TEMP)Debug
- Close the project file
- Reload the project (R-click on unloaded project and then select 'Reload Project').
As an addition: As I had multiple run configurations, I also had multiple OutputPath entries. I had to change all of them accordingly.

Are you sure next to green button '
Debug
' mode is selected and NOT 'Release
'?Probably you are trying to deploy application instead od running it in Visual studio - Debug
mode.Roxy'ProRoxy'Pro

How To Zip A Visual Studio File

A regular cycle of annual upgrades has established Parallels Desktop as the leading virtualisation tool for Mac users who need to run Windows apps and software tools that aren't normally available on the Mac. Those upgrades also tend to coincide with new versions of macOS itself, so with macOS Mojave now in the final stages of beta testing it's time for version 14 of Parallels Desktop to make its debut.
Last year's upgrade to v13 largely focused on catching up with recent developments in Mac hardware, such as the Touch Bar on Apple's latest MacBook Pro laptops. In contrast, v14 is more forward-looking, allowing you to create Windows virtual machines (VMs) that support new technologies, such as Intel's high-performance AVX-512 instruction set, which is used in the current Xeon-based iMac Pro, as well as the next generation of Cannon Lake chips. The developers have also improved OpenGL support for Windows VMs in order to enhance performance for a number of graphics-intensive apps, such as the OriginLab range of data analysis tools, which haven't run well within the virtual machine environment in the past.
There have been performance improvements in other areas too, with Parallels claiming that Coherence mode, which hides the Windows desktop so that Windows apps simply appear on the Mac desktop alongside native Mac apps, provides 17 percent higher frame rates when running graphics software. Launch and suspend times for virtual machines are also improved, along with performance of the Windows 'virtual disk'. And, for developers who may need to run multiple virtual machines with different operating systems, there's a Disk Space Wizard that helps to reduce the overall size of each virtual machine file.
Parallels always likes to support Apple's latest eye-candy features, so Windows virtual machines in Parallels Desktop 14 will be able to use the new Quick Look markup features that are due to arrive with macOS Mojave. The Touch Bar on the MacBook Pro laptops will now work with additional Windows apps, including QuickBooks and Microsoft Visual Studio, displaying menu commands from those apps directly on the Touch Bar. And, on the Windows side of the fence, Windows 10 virtual machines will now allow you to use a pressure-sensitive stylus or trackpad with Windows Ink.

Parallels also informed us that it should be possible to accelerate graphics performance on a Windows VM using an external GPU (eGPU), such as the Blackmagic eGPU that Apple is currently promoting.
